FBI raids home of man charged with attempted murder of Justice Kavanaugh

Federal agents have descended into the Simi Valley, California family home, accused of having planned to assassinate the judge of the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh.

Nicholas John Roske, 26, was accused of the attempted murder of the Supreme Court. If he is found guilty, he risks a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.

The FBI burst out the house in front of the house on Wednesday evening after obtaining a search warrant, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Roske was placed in police custody during the night on Wednesday near the Kavanaugh house, and his backpack and his suitcase were seized. The authorities say that they contain a black tactical thoracic platform, a tactical knife, a Glock 17 pistol with two magazines and ammunition, a pepper spray, zip ties outside the soles and other items.

“Threats of violence and real violence against judges strike at the heart of our democracy,” said Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The court documents indicate that Roske was upset by the flight of a recent decision of the Supreme Court to possibly cancel ROE c. Wade and feared that Kavanaugh would vote to cancel the laws on firearms.

Communication centre, he had travelled from California to Maryland to kill a specific judge of the Supreme Court and had a firearm in his suitcase while having “suicidal thoughts”, said officials of the Ministry of Justice. According to the authorities, police officers from the county of Montgomery sent to examine the call found Roske, who was still on the phone with the distributor, according to the authorities.

Roske’s grandfather, Dan Shannon, told CBS Los Angeles that the allegations against his grandson were “extremely” out of his character for him.

“He’s a good child,” said Shannon.

Voisin Zach Quadri said to the station: “They were always nice people, so it’s a surprise more than anything.”

“I think it’s a frightening period in which we live and that people need to look for each other and mental health is a big problem in the world,” said another neighbour.
