We all know that League of Legends is a very competitive game, but there’s no easy way to figure out best top laners this patch 11.20.

We’ve spent hours and hours trying to figure out who the five best top laners in league of legends are for this patch. There was nothing we could find on google or youtube that helped us with this problem. So we decided to make our own list!

After testing 10 different champions, here’s what we found as the 5 best top laners in league of legends right now (this patch). This list will be updated every month so you can always stay up-to-date with how things change over time. You’ll also get an email notification when it updates so you don’t have to worry about checking back here each month.

Who Are the Best Top Laners in LoL Patch 11.20?

With little changes in the top lane, we might not see too many changes in Patch 11.20 for the top lane meta. Fiora and Camille have been strong fighters, but have suitable counters been found to go toe-to-toe with them? Check out our best top laners in Patch 11.20 to find out!

In this LoL tier list, we’ll show you the best champions for each lane. We especially focus on win rate and the carry potential, because you often have to carry your teammates in any given game. Today, we will look at the top lane.

As with last patch, best top laners for this patch is pretty different from the previous one, but some remain ever-consistent. A new member of the group debuts, but it’s not one you would expect.

Riven is a difficult champion to master, but one of the most iconic ones in the game. She is extremely mobile, which makes her super hard to lock down. She can jump out of danger with ease, and with Goredrinker, she is basically unkillable.

Riven is an incredibly dominant pick with very few counters. While Karthus and Yorick are the only mages in this patch that can straight up beat her, she outranges them both and has one of the highest base stats in the game, delaying their power spike until level 6. Riven also fares well against other common top lane champions such as Quinn

Best Top Laners in Patch 11.20 - Aatrox

Another Goredrinker abuser– you’ll be seeing a trend here – is Aatrox who just dominates the meta right now. If you land your Q’s, you can punish and abuse your lane opponent, creating a nice gap. You can’t go wrong with Aatrox in LoL Patch 11.20 as your top lane champion.

Top Lane is a very aggressive lane, with skilled players able to snowball the game out of control. The best top laners are strong duelists, making them difficult to bully around in lane phase. This list includes carries and tanks alike, as everyone on this list has proven strength in one way or another. I have also taken into consideration impact on the team in addition to individual performance.

Lee sin has gone from one of the worst top laners to quite possibly the best top laner in this patch. His early damage is very strong, and he can also choose to go for an ap build if against a bruiser like riven or jax (this does make you weaker against other tanks though).

Furthermore, if you’re already building ap with your qss/liandry’s then you’re able to do some serious burst damage with his ult-q-auto combo (autoing someone after their hp bar goes down at least 50%). One last thing to mention is that lee sin has probably the highest skill cap out of any champion in league of legends so thats another reason why

Guess who got a buff in Patch 11.20 and is once again part of our best top laner tier list? Of course, none other than our boy Darius. Seriously, this guy gets one buff, and he’s one of the most reliable champions in lane again. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with him in the top lane in Patch 11.20.

The main discussion points will be organized around a champion pool , so I will rate them at their strongest in the context of being able to play 3-5 champions. Otherwise it would just be one giant list, with nothing to differentiate between them.

Everything in each category is rated by its difficulty in learning and using . It’s possible that you can have a strong champion pool but still do poorly because you don’t know how to play them well. Someone who can only play Lee Sin might have a great early game, pretty good team fighting, etc., but he’ll still put up worse results than people whose champion pool.

For each patch, I’ll grab the most popular champions selected in pro games during the previous week and include them in an article with their most recent fixed  statistical values . Let’s go over some basic information before we get to the main part of this article!

Camille seems to be a champion who just won’t leave our top lane tier lists. She’s got an insanely strong early game, and the amounts of true damage she can push out is also nothing to laugh at.

Thanks to her Hookshot, she can stay safe as well, using it as an escape tool and once she’s raked in a kill or two, you can also use it to go in on fights you know you’ll win – and those are going to be a lot because Camille doesn’t lose much.

Camille is probably the best bruiser top-laner right now. He has no mana, strong poke with his Ground Slam and he’s also tanky as hell. What more could you ask for? Malphite not only counters AD top laners but also tanks like Shen and Rammus which makes him even better! If you would like to build a little bit more damage go for an item such as Black Cleaver or Bloodthirster after Rod of Ages and Banshee’s Veil.

Jax isn’t my most played champion but I can see that he is very strong this patch. His Counter Strike gives him insane burst of myAs the season comes to end, players are looking for new ways to gain an edge on their opponents.

Some people think that playing carry top laners is best way to gain an advantage. That isn’t true at all because it’s not always easy carrying your team when you get counterpicked by your lane opponent or get camped by the jungler. But if you have the right champion picks and are skilled enough, carry top can be great! So without further ado, let’s get down to business.

Best Top Laners LoL Patch 11.20 Fiora

Guess what item you’ll be building on Fiora? If you guessed Goredrinker, then you’re absolutely right, because along with Darius, RivenandAatrox, she is the fourth champion in this top lane tier list who synergizes perfectly with the item. She can fight and sustain as much as she wants thanks to it!

So even if you can’t split push with her and are forced into fights, you can jump into the fray and sustain with Goredrinker. Opponents won’t be able to kill you on Fiora, and you’ll easily win a few games before the end of the season. So, of course, Fiora is the best top laner in LoL Patch 11.20.

First of all, let me start by saying that this article will delve into the top lane champion pool for this patch. I do not plan on touching upon Aatrox or Darius because there is too little data concerning them (and to be honest, they’re underwhelming atm).

Some champions like Jarvan IV and Malphite are very versatile picks; therefore, I decided to choose champions which, in my opinion, excel at their roles out of the champions played in competitive/high level solo queue.

Renekton took no time at all to go from the strongest top lane professional pick to getting gutted. One swift patch later, and he is now getting buffed again. The crocodile is likely to go back to being on top, although not as strong as he once was.

“Renekton has always been a good top laner, but the new runes changes make him even better. The extra life steal with his E is incredibly strong early game and it doesn’t lose effectiveness as you build tank items.” – Leagueofgraphs

“Rek’Sai’s great because her damage gets very high with all of her added attack speed thanks to her Q making another melee hit after using it on the same target.. Her ganks are also strong by giving vision with one cast, so she can see where she wants to go for an effective gank. She can also counter jungle well due to her burrow making her invisible when standing still so long as there isn’t any indicator of her (the dots below).

Mordekaiser has been buffed. which means all carries now need to run or build Quicksilver Sash. Mordekaiser is a strong champion that can isolate carries, reducing their team fight DPS while also potentially sending them to the grave.

This means it assesses how strong a champion’s laning phase is, and how well they fare against other champions in the current patch. It does not take into account how good someone is at executing combos or playing as a team, so this list may vary from Solo Queue Tier Lists that you see elsewhere on the internet.

The “difficulty” of each lane will also be taken into account when determining ranks; for example, if Fiora has an easy time against Nautilus but gets wrecked by Jayce , she’ll be more highly rated than him on this list since he’ll have an easier time throughout the game even though.

Gnar is a strong pick right now against melee top laners. He can easily kite his match ups into providing strong team fight control, something most ranged top laners cannot provide.

Is Gwen a top Laner?

Gwen is designed to be played as a top laner, but players have also experimented with her in the jungle and the mid lane

Is Quinn top good?

Is Quinn Good Right Now? Ranking as the #29 Best Pick In the Top Lane role for patch 11.20, placing it within our D-Tier Rank. Seen as a below average choice, and should be avoided if possible, concerning difficulty, this is a moderately diffcult to play champion for new players in league of legends.

Is Garen good LoL?

Is Garen good in LoL? Garen is a good champion in LoL, but only in certain matchups and at certain ranks. Garen is a suitable pick for anyone climbing the lower divisions, but likely won’t be a good choice at Master rank and above. Below Master rank, Garen is usually sitting at a win rate above 50% overall.

The best top laners this patch are either Darius or Gangplank. If you need to choose one, I would go with Darius because he has the potential to be a little bit tankier in lane and his ultimate is just an all-around better engage tool than GP’s Parley. However, if your team needs more damage then feel free to pick up GP for any matchup that doesn’t involve ranged poke champions like Varus or Caitlyn.
